Colossians 3:12

Scripture - "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

Observation - We are holy.   We are dearly loved.  We need to put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience every day.

Application - I can be compassionate by recognizing the hurt of others and helping them.  I can be kind by being sensitive to the needs of others and responding positively.  I can practice humility by building others up and learning from others.  I don't know it all! I can show gentleness by letting my words and actions reflect Jesus.  Be slow to anger.  I can be patient by being willing to wait without complaint.

Prayer - Lord, let me clothe myself daily with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Let my words and actions  reflect you always.

Psalm 100:4

Scripture- 
​ "Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise!  Give thanks to Him; bless His name."

Observation- 
Entering His gates could be prayer.  Come to prayer with thanksgiving.  Courts could also mean prayer.  Come to prayer with praise.  Give thanks to Him. We should be specific when we thank Him. Bless His name means praise and worship.

Application-
Begin every prayer by thanking God  and praising Him.

Prayer-
Thank You, Lord, for opening my eyes. Thank You, for Your word to learn more about You.  I praise You and thank You for working in my life.   Amen
