Hope Wherever you are no matter how hopeless you feel, there is a path from the darkness to life. There is a path from hopelessness to hope. When you are at the end of your rope and don't know if you can go on, (feeling well beyond the end of your rope) When there is absolutely no hope, not even a shimmer of hope to have hope, that's when He shows up. If the cold night is too long and hope is all but forgotten; Right there is where Jesus comes. When there is no way out -He makes a way. Where there is no reason for hope for tomorrow -He intervenes and offers a tomorrow full of promise. The Bible says that God is near the brokenhearted. At your greatest point of need -He is there. It may not feel that way, but He is there. Cry out to him. The Bible says, weeping may last a night, but joy comes in the morning. Joy might sound ridiculous when you are at the bottom, but His plan for you is crazy good. He said, “The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life and have it to the full”. He brings life, and He brings it abundantly. The Bible says all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Saved from what? Saved from hell. Saved from death. Saved from the hopeless dark night of endless sorrow. Saved to what? ...in a word...LIFE. Real life. Life that starts now and never ends. Life that is by essence love, joy and hope.
You could pray like this: OK God, here I am at the end of my rope. I've got nothing. Will you help me? Will you save me? God please help me.
He will. One of my favorite prayers recorded in the Bible is where Peter is walking on the water and starts to sink, he cries out, “Lord save me!” And Jesus did. And He does. He will save you. Call out to Him.
Listen to this: Come to me all you who are burdened and heavy laden take my yoke upon you and learn from me for my yoke is easy and my burden is light and you will find rest for your souls. --Jesus --It's a great deal. Bring Him your sorrows, receive life.
If you cry out to Him you will take your first step into forever life. Then, keep following Him. Tomorrow is full of hope and joy for all who know life. Know life? Yes! Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me. John said, In Him(Jesus) is life. Follow Him, learn from Him. He is good. He will bring you through to the other side of the storm...into the sun, into life.
