What is verse mapping? Verse mapping is a creative way to study your Bible. Your main supplies are your bible, a pen or pencil, a notebook, and a dictionary. ( You can use online resources such as Biblehub.com or Blue Letter Bible.) To begin pray that God will reveal to you what His message is to you through this verse. Pick a verse. It can be your favorite verse or a verse you want to know more about. Write out the verse. You can look it up in 2 or 3 translations. Pick out the main words of the verse. Circle or draw a box around each word or phrase. Look up each word in the dictionary or concordance. Write the definitions. Reread the verse using the meanings of the words. For more in depth study look up the Greek or Hebrew origins of the words.

My heart and my flesh - All of me, from the inside out Cry out - Shout, sing praises, yearn Living God - The One Who died and rose, is ever present, God! Rephrase - My being, all that I am, wants, needs, craves, yes to the point of losing control of myself out of desperation for God, to be in His Presence, wherever He is; All of me, from the inside out, shouts, sings praises, yearns, for the One Who died and rose and is ever present, God!

Scripture - "for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Observation - God will satisfy those who are seeking for Him, those who thirst for His word. He fills those who are hungry for Him with blessings Application - When I am restless or not content it may be that I am thirsty or hungry for God and His word. He will satisfy me when I seek Him and fill me with good things. I feel like good things means blessings. Good things could also be contentment and peace. Prayer - Lord, I wish to receive the good things You have promised. Help me to recognize when I am thirsty and hungry for You. Help me to seek You when I am restless and feeling unfulfilled or empty.
